Meet the Team Behind the Scenes!

At the centre of Inspire is a passionate team dedicated to keeping the cogs of Inspire turning. We know that trust and familiarity are so important, which is why we wanted to introduce the wonderful people behind our service.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

Marilyn is the founder of Inspire Doncaster Ltd, which she established in 2016 to support people living with dementia and their families.

After being made redundant from her role as a dementia adviser, she set up Inspire Doncaster as a small befriending service built on connection, dignity, and support. Since then, it has grown into a dedicated team providing day centres, transport, meals, and personalised care across Doncaster.

She is passionate about helping people live well with dementia and supporting families through every stage of their journey. Marilyn is also proud to support local initiatives, including youth football, food banks, and Doncaster Rovers.

Her aim is simple: to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Natalea has been part of Inspire for nine years, beginning her journey as a support worker while also assisting with office administration. Her experience across both frontline support and operational roles has given her a strong, well-rounded understanding of the organisation.

She is now the Owner and Managing Director, overseeing the day-to-day running of the business. During her time at Inspire, Natalea has successfully project-managed the opening of the current building, as well as new day centres and office spaces. What began with just one day centre has grown significantly, with Inspire now operating a centre running Monday to Friday.

Natalea is also proud to support local initiatives, including youth football, food banks, and Doncaster Rovers. She remains committed to the continued growth of Inspire while maintaining high standards of care and support for those the organisation serves.

Lauren joined Inspire as a support worker before moving into office administration in September 2021. Since then, she has developed extensive knowledge of the organisation and now works as our Office Manager.

Lauren plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring everything operates smoothly for both clients and staff. She coordinates staff schedules, keeps records up to date, and makes sure clients and their families are happy with the support they receive. She is often the first to answer the phone and is always ready to help.

Lauren takes pride in her work and has made a real difference to the smooth running of the business.

Paula has been part of Inspire for 8 years, beginning her journey as a support worker before progressing to her current role as Assessment and Support Manager. In this role, she meets with new clients and carefully matches them with the most suitable support worker to meet their needs.

She brings a wealth of experience, particularly in dementia care, and has previously worked closely within mental health services. Although she now holds a management position, Paula still dedicates one day a week to supporting clients in the community, reflecting her ongoing passion for making a difference.

Paula consistently goes above and beyond to ensure clients receive the very best support, and her knowledge, experience, and dedication shine through in everything she does.

Jane has been part of Inspire for almost 6 years, beginning her journey in a support worker role after previously working in NHS finance.

With her strong background and experience, she stepped into the role of Accounts Manager three years ago, where she now oversees staff timesheets and client invoicing. She is responsible for all aspects of the accounts department, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Jane’s knowledge and experience have made her highly organised and financially savvy, and she takes great care in managing the company’s finances.

Phoebe joined Inspire in 2019 as a support worker, working within the community and at Inspire’s first Day Centre. She mainly supported younger clients, including those living with autism, learning difficulties, and mental health challenges.

In 2023, Phoebe stepped into the role of Marketing Coordinator, where she now manages the Facebook page, weekly newsletter, and website. Alongside this, she also supports with general office administration and is always happy to help wherever she’s needed.
